EuropebyAir sells flight passes valid for hundreds of flights within Europe. They cover nearly 150 destinations, and are good on any of the 24 European-based carriers participating in the Flight Pass program. Advance reservations are not required, and there are no blackout dates. Passes are valid for 120 days. All you have to do is buy your Flight Passes before you leave the U.S. (the deal is so good that European residents are not allowed to take advantage).
