NEXT Vavin Paris Metro
I took the Paris Metro from hotel (near the Vavin station) to Gare de L'est on the 4 train.
It's easy to use and much cheaper (1.40 euro) and quicker (straight shot but made 14 stops) than a taxi. Took just under 20 minutes.
