Aloha! Next week, I'll tell you all about my incredible trip to Hawaii but for now, I hope you'll sit back and enjoy the 39-picture slideshow I put together of my trip to Luxembourg last July. Hopefully it will entice you to put this tiny but beautiful landlocked country on your summer itinerary. We also have stories from my sister GeorgieJet on her trip to New York City & Washington D.C. and one of our interns wrote about an incredible competition where you and a partner can take part in an Competitours- "Amazing Race" type contest and travel all around Europe to win a prize. If I had time, I would enter because it sure does look fun.

P.S. We're getting mixed reviews on our new format. It's tough to please everyone so let's take a vote! Please let us know if you like the article or slideshow format better by taking this one question survey (please vote only once).

P.P.S. Did you see that my niece is following her uncle's footsteps? She was officially announced as the Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach's first ever Petite Blogger. Woo hoo Amanda Jet!

MEDIA ALERT
SOME OF LAST WEEK'S READER AIR-eMAIL
  • Wanted to acknowledge your excellent work within the travel industry. Your videos and comments within your site & to the media have encouraged thousands to participate in traveling as opposed to sitting on their tails only dreaming. Well done and the best of continued success! John V –

  • Your niece is a fantastic reporter! Keep it up! Rebecca T – Maryland

  • Looks like a tough life Johnny! Trina M – Erie, PA

  • I feel the same like Deena from Connecticut: I don't like the new format at all. It was so much easier to just read a text of 2 or 3 pages and click on the photos, if interested. But now I have to click like 20 times to read about a single trip. And there is not as much text as there used to be. Such a shame, I really enjoyed reading about your trips and getting tips for my own trips. I am not a twitter, but maybe I should start a group in facebook "we want the old Johnny Jet format back"?? ;-) Thanks for telling us about Momondo. I used it immediately. Iris - Switzerland

  • Did the old newsletter format go? Will it ever come back? I find the large image slide show slow to load and hard to read, I have been reading the newsletter for years and I have always enjoyed it (it being the writing much more than the images!). Beth K – Illinois (a Sad Reader :()

  • I don't like the new format!! I miss your narratives and the photos. I appreciate the whole Twitter revolution but I don't want to be tied to my cell phone reading bits and pieces of reports all day long! Trish -

  • Truly Beautiful!! Thanks for sharing all of your wonderful photos! Melinda B -

  • Just so you'll know, my entire family has adopted your practice of packing chocolates for gate agents and flight attendants. Thanks for starting a new tradition for us. Rebecca M -
