SkyRoll is a revolutionary new design in luggage, perfect for short business trips or weekend getaways. You don't hang or fold your clothes, you roll them. This patented technique helps prevent wrinkles and, most importantly, gives you a compact lightweight bag that meets airline carry-on requirements but still holds enough clothing for a 2 or 3 day trip.
SkyRoll has two main components, the roll bag and the detachable garment bag. Shoes, toiletries, and small articles of clothing fit inside one of two compartments inside the roll bag, or in accesory pockets at each end. Suits, pants, dresses and larger articles of clothing are placed inside the detachable garment bag. The garment bag attaches easily and rolls around the outside of the roll bag. (See How it works).  Because your clothes are rolled instead of folded, wrinkles are minimized. Perfect for short business trips or weekend getaways when you don't have time to wait at baggage claim.
SkyRoll measures 24" long x 9"in diameter. The detachable garment bag measures 44" x 22" so it has room for almost any suit, dress, or large item. Made of extra tough 1200 denier polyester. Available in Black or Forest Green and comes with a lifetime warranty.
NOTE: We are currently out of black  Order Online: or by fax or mail. Each SkyRoll is $69.95 plus shipping.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>WHERE'S JOHNNY JET?<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Greetings! It's kind of upsetting when a week ago, I was freezing in Erie and all my friends were telling me how it's 80 degrees in L.A., and I am missing out. Well, wouldn't you know it? When I arrive the temperature only reaches 60 (and at night it went down to 39), AND it was raining.

On Monday the sun was shining, and I went for a bike ride with my buddy Joe Lewis. We cruised down to Hermosa to check out the scene, play some volley ball, and see the renovated pier. When I arrived home I received one of those phone calls you love to get. It was my friend Larry asking me what I was doing. I said not much, and he said "how about going to the Laker Game, Dookie"? I said "heck yeah". He says good, call the other boys up because they're 3rd row from the floor. I called up Joe, and said waaasssuuupp? He said he was kicking back, watching the game, and having a bud. I said hurry up and get ready because we have 3rd row seats for the Lakers. Within 25 minutes we were downtown at the Staples center chilling at the game. I thought the game was going to be a blow out, but the Lakers got lucky when the Grizzlies missed this bucket to push it into overtime. We were actually the lucky ones, because Taco Bell was offering FREE Chilupa's to everyone if the Lakers scored 110 points and won. This turned out to be one of the most exciting parts of the game, routing for the Lakers to score 110 points so we all win Chilupas (you know we will probably all lose or throw away the coupons because they take up too much space in our wallets). Well, the score was 109 with about a minute to go and Shaq was at the free throw line (which every fan knows, he can't hit free throws for the life of him, but I had a feeling things might change with a Chilupa on the line (by the way you know the whole game I was yelling I WANT MY CHILUPA!)  The good news is he made the free throw, the bad news is: when the game was over I went out a back door and forgot to get my coupon, so no FREE Chilupa for me. That hurts doesn't?

The highlight of the week was going out to lunch yesterday with one of the travel masters himself; Rudy Maxa from MSNBC and the Savvy Traveler Radio Show. I have to tell you Rudy is a great guy, and we had a nice lunch near the USC campus. He was also kind enough to offer Johnny Jet readers a discount for his "Rudy Maxa's Traveler" newsletter (which I highly recommend). It will cost you $49 for a year subscription (the average Joe pays $75). If you are interested call 800 387 8025.

Right now I am writing this letter from a 767 headed for freezing cold Chicago.

TIP OF THE WEEK:   By Chris McGinnis
Know the Difference Between a Debit Card and a Credit or Charge Card

When it comes to business travel, it is important to know the difference between a debit card and a credit or charge card. Debit and charge cards look very similar; both carry the recognizable MasterCard and Visa logos. But be sure you know which is which when you pull them out of your pocket on the road.

A debit charge is immediately withdrawn from your checking account--just like an ATM transaction. When you purchase an airline ticket with a debit card, the funds come out of your account instantly, but they cannot be instantly refunded if you change your mind. Many car rental companies and hotels will only accept debit cards as final payment. To check out a car, or check in at a hotel, you need a credit card.

Therefore, it's smart to keep your travel purchases on standard credit or charge cards. In addition, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Diners Club credit cards offer protection from airline bankruptcy, as well as car rental and life insurance benefits. Even more important, debit card purchasers don't earn frequent flier miles like the many affinity credit cards do.
