WHERE'S JOHNNY JET?
I'm a loser.  Why?  Because I didn't venture out of California this week.   :-(   Instead, I stayed home and worked on Johnny Jet.  But, hey check it out- We updated almost every link on the portal and we re-designed it again.  Soooo please take a minute and surf www.johnnyjet.com.  Let us know how you like it and/or any suggestions.  (Email: Johnny@johnnyjet.com).

Good news!  Can you believe Johnny Jet was Delta's Affiliate of the Month for February!  They sent us 2 free tickets for selling sooo many tickets for them.  Not bad, huh?

Since I wrote a book last week, I will keep it short this week.  Real short.

BEEN TO VENICE? A READER NEEDS YOUR ADVICE!
This Summer my new bride and I will be in Venice, Italy for our Honeymoon. Neither of us have ever been.  I am interested in any "must see" sites during our stay.  In addition, if you or any of your colleagues could recommend a good hotel that is close to the Grand Canal, it would be greatly appreciated.
I look forward to your response and I will gladly report back this Summer in return. Thank You,  Brett J. Miller
>If you can help Brett, please pass your comments to me (johnny@johnnyjet.com) and I will forward them.

COMMENT FROM A READER:
Hey Johnny Jet -
Great newsletter.   Always fun reading.   While I'm normally a UA flyer, EWR is my home base.   One of the main things CO is doing with all the construction at EWR is building their own customs area so CO's international flights will come into Terminal C and skip the extra security.   Not a biggie for me since I live here, nice for you  (I'd still fly from LAX to MIA versus EWR!).   Someone at CO actually does think (amazing!). ~ Corey

GOOD TO KNOW!
RENTING IN MOTION
I have rented a dvd player from In Motion Pictures in the past to help my husband who has an intense fear of flying. We were on a four hour flight and it helped. I had almost forgotten about In Motion until they sent me an e-mail offering 15% off a dvd rental if I made the reservation online. I had an up and coming trip with my toddler and I thought this may be just the thing to save my sanity. So I made the reservation and for $12.50 I got a 7" dvd player, a dvd (Teletubbies) and one set of headphones. I was thrilled! I thought I would really beat my toddler on this flight! Well, it didn't work exactly as planned. She was more interested in the case the dvd player comes in and all the buttons on the player than the Teletubbies. After the initial excitement and after touching ALL the buttons about a hundred times she watched the dvd for about a half an hour and I had a cat nap. Phew! When I went to turn in my player at SJC the kid couldn't find my reservation so he returned it for FREE! No charge to my Visa. You have to love teenagers! Was it worth it? Yes and no. I overestimated the power of the Teletubbies. On our return flight my toddler entertained herself just as long with a little tub of cream cheese that came with breakfast. (And the cream cheese didn't have a $250 deposit on it.) In short, I highly recommend getting a dvd if you have a fear of flying or you are travelling with someone who does, but if you are travelling with a toddler everything is up in the air. You never know what will keep them occupied.
