The informative & entertaining site about airlines, airports, airplanes
& passengers
Whether you're a frequent flyer, a vacationer, or an airline employee,
you should find some useful information and amusement at this site.
Click on the letter to the left that corresponds to the initial of
the city or town for which you need the three letter code, and you will
see here a list of all cities or towns in the world that begin with that
letter together with the airport code, country, country code, GMT offset,
runway length, elevation, latitude and longitude. Note the two boxes, one
contains all the data mentioned here, and the other just contains the code
lookup. The full data option takes some time to download (10s-2mins depending
on the letter), and the code lookup only is very fast (less than 10 seconds).

JET?<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Crazy, crazy, crazy, that's all I can say. I returned from my
3 night Carnival Cruise (I went with 27 guys for a bachelor party) to Mexico.
For those of you who have never been on a cruise, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING
FOR?. They are amazing. There is so much to do ( I thought I was going
to get some rest, read some books, and work on my laptop, yeah right!).
The ship was huge (1,400 passengers), 8 floors, 3 pools (1 kiddy), V-ball
court, disco, bars, theater, game room, dining rooms, health club, and
casino. The only bad (or good) part is that you are not connected to the
world. No internet connections, cell phone doesn't work (90% of the time),
and to make a phone call from your cabin is pricey: $9.50 a minute (ouch!).
This specific cruise is pretty well known for its "partying", and let
me tell you, it kept its reputation. We left San Pedro, CA on Friday
at 5pm. Most passengers hang out and have cocktails while waving
bon voyage and enjoying the sunset. My crew hung out by the bar (with
a bachelorette party) and watched the Laker game. We had a lousy
dinner. The food, which is included in the price, is not very good, but
they do give you a lot of it (three sit down meals a day, a midnight buffet
and room service 24 hours:-).
You can feel the boat rocking, but nothing too bad, and nobody gets
sick (thank God). Most nights we would hit the casino (still waiting
for that karma to kick in), then the night club and danced the night away.
Every night we went to bed late, real late. Waking up to the cruise
director's (loud) PA welcoming us to Ensenada, Mexico, was not the highlight
of the trip. After fumbling around for a bit we disembarked around
11:00am, and went into town. Most partiers (spell check says this
is not a word, it is now) head right for Papas and Beer (the most famous
bar in Ensenada). Walking in you realize right away things are going to
get interesting. You see big Mexican guys blowing their whistles
while they shove a shot of Tequila down your throat (they cover your mouth
with a towel, shake your head and pick you up and spin you). Everyone
is dancing on the tables, while spraying beer all over one another. Complete
chaos, and it gets even worse when you return to the boat (you have to
be back on by 9pm for departure). Sat night is pretty much a duplicate
of Friday night, and Sunday the boat is just cruising around Catalina Island.
A lot of unexplainable events take place on the boat, which you have to
go to see for yourself. Sunday night is not much different then the
others. I walked into the disco at 2am and it was packed. Went to
bed at ?, woke up in L.A., packed, ate breakfast, and disembarked.
I went to work by 11. I do not recommend going to work, because I
was useless. I mean completely useless, I couldn't even speak or walk (the
ground is still moving). My poor friends, I don't even drink, and
I feel drunk.
