>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>LETTER FROM THE
EDITOR<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Greetings Everyone! I hope you all had a good Halloween, I was in
Connecticut for the parties (I dressed up as the Y2K Bug). This week I am
back in the Bay area, enjoying the nice weather. I added a few more
features to this week's issue, I hope you like!
While I was in CT this
weekend, I took the Connecticut Limo from Laguardia Airport to CT.
It should only take around forty minutes, but every time I take CT Limo it takes
me hours. I had boycotted them for a while, but decided to try them again (for
some crazy reason). Well it didn't go so well, and I was pretty perturbed.
While driving in the slow lane I was thinking of slogans they should use:
"CT Limo what a shitty way to start or end your trip."
"We are always late, we make more stops then any other service, and to top
it off we're expensive." "Guaranteed to piss you off,
because we take two and a half hours from LGA to CT, rather than
one."
Why can't they be like the Marin Airporter in N.
California. They run every thirty minutes, it takes forty minutes to get
to your destination and it costs around $10. It's practically the same
trip from SFO to Marin as it is LGA to CT and CT Limo makes you make a
reservation, instead of going out to the curb every half hour. CT Limo is always
late and it costs $36). Alternatives: Get a friend to pick you up or call Red
Dot Shuttle or Prime Time Shuttle, both costs around the same ($36), but are
more efficient.
***Please take the time to send me the email addresses of your friends who travel, and any tips or comments you might have.

TIP OF THE
WEEK by Chris McGinnis:
AIRPORT SAFETY TIPS: SECURITY
DISTRACTIONS: Thieves often operate in teams at security checkpoints.
One will distract you and security personnel by setting off the metal detector
while the other grabs your bag as it exits the x-ray conveyor belt. Wait until
the person in front of you has cleared security before you place your luggage on
the conveyer belt.

NEW!TRAVEL JOKE OF THE
WEEK
A man boards an
airplane, and takes his seat. As he settles in, he glances up and
sees the most beautiful woman boarding the plane. He soon realizes she is
heading straight towards his seat. A wave of nervous anticipation washes
over him. Lo and behold, she takes the seat right beside his. Anxious to
strike up a conversation, he blurts out, "So where are you flying to
today?" She turns and smiles, and says, "To the annual Nymphomaniac
Convention, in Chicago."
He swallows hard, and is instantly
CRAZED with excitement. Here's the most gorgeous woman he has ever seen,
sitting RIGHT next to him, and she's going to a meeting of nymphomaniacs.
Struggling to maintain his outward cool, he calmly asks, "And what's your
role at this convention?"
She flips her hair back, turns to him,
locks onto his eyes, and says, "Well, I try to debunk some of the popular
myths about sexuality."
"Really" he says, swallowing hard.
"And what myths are those?" She explains: "Well, one popular myth
is that African American men
are the most well-endowed when, in fact, it is
the Native American Indian who is most likely to possess this trait.
Another popular myth is that Frenchmen are the best lovers, when actually it is
men of Jewish descent who romance women best."
"How very
interesting," the man responds. Suddenly, the woman becomes very
embarrassed, and blushes. "I'm sorry," she says, "I feel so
awkward discussing this with you, and I don't even know your
name." The man extends his hand and replies, "Tonto. Tonto
Goldstein."
