New daily nonstop flight from
SYD to LAX will be the first flight to arrive into LAX from
Australia with a 6:15 AM arrival time. NZ 14 will depart
from Sydney International Airport at 11:30 AM and arrive into Los
Angeles at 6:15AM connecting smoothly with onward services on
partner carriers throughout the USA.
Air New Zealand's new convenient Australia to USA schedule has
been designed in response to customer preference for earlier and
streamlined connections to the East Coast with codeshare STAR
Alliance partner United Airlines. To further enhance this
seamless connection, all NZ14 SYD-LAX services will arrive into
TERMINAL 6, offering convenient transfers to domestic flights.
TIP OF THE
WEEK by Chris McGinnis: CHOOSING THE BEST LUGGAGE II
-"Wheels" were once used almost universally by flight
attendantsăthe ultimate road warriors. But, more and more,
business travelers are trying out wheeled luggage these days.
These carry-on-sized suitcases are typically made of durable
nylon with built-in wheels and an extension handle that adjusts
to the traveler's height. The telescoping handle should feel
sturdy and lock into place when extended. Also look for wheels
that are as big and as far apart as possible. This will keep the
suitcase easy to maneuver and prevent tipping over.
-New airline rules limit liability for any handles or wheels that may be broken when wheeled suitcases are checked. If possible, always carry on your wheels, and check larger suitcases.
